Guardian Angel
You sit all alone in a room,
A room you made yourself.
You wall yourself off,
Off from the rest.
From their smiling faces
That paint false pictures
And bring you to your knees.
You're afraid.
Afraid to be hurt.
Afraid to love.
The others say they're sorry,
But they don't really care.
You think no one understands,
This torture you endure.
So you put yourself in a room of glass,
That has no windows
Nor any doors.
A room in which you can see out,
yet others can't see in.
You think you're all alone,
That no one really sees you.
But you're wrong.
I am here,
And I can see your soul.
You do not see me,
But I am by your side.
I share your grief
As no other can.
I feel your pain in me.
I live for you,
I'd die for you
Although you do not see me.
